Cheap Eats and Fun Times: Why I like Happy Hour!

One thing you will learn about me is that with 4 kids, I like to keep our budget in tack while still enjoying a good meal out every once in a while. Going to Happy Hour is a great way to do that. I like to go not for the discounted drinks but for the discounted food. Most Happy Hour locations offer 50% off their popular menu items and I always leave full and happy.

When picking a Happy Hour location, I ALWAYS go online and search for locations near me. I then will research the menu to see if their idea of half off is my idea of half off. I also like to make sure they have something I would enjoy eating. Once I'm satisfied with the menu, I call. Some restaurants have changed their happy hour times and menu items. I like to make sure I don't make a wasted trip.

Most of the time after I've picked out a spot, I'll see if a friend wants to join me. We set a date and count down to catching up and chewing!
